A significant planning and programming tool for ANG, the Installation Development Plan (IDP) provides a framework for developing spaces using low-impact development practices in a sustainable environment.   An IDP provides an installation with planning, programming and development strategies that address current and programmed mission opportunities and deficiencies.

Woolpert is currently preparing IDPs for 105 AW; Stewart ANGB, NY; 201 RHS Fort Indiantown Gap, PA; 200 RHS Camp Perry, OH; and 102 IW Otis ANGB, MA. Due to the evolving nature of the ANG mission, Woolpert is preparing the IDPs to provide the flexibility and ability to respond to a variety of impacts and opportunities. Each IDP begins with a planning charrette and visioning workshop. Woolpert then moves on to examine the installation’s physical composition, determine existing and future space and facility needs, and analyze development constraints and opportunities. Woolpert’s effort includes the development of a series of Concept Plans that transform into the final Long-Range Development Plan, Short-Range Development Plan, Capital Improvements Program, Real Estate Plan and Future Land Use and Circulation Plan.
