GM TRUCK AND BUS PLANT REDEVELOPMENT

As one of the largest full-service redevelopment companies in the country, IRG purchased the vacant General Motors Truck & Bus plant in Moraine, Ohio, with plans to redevelop it into a multi-tenant production facility that would bring economic support to a struggling area.

Additionally, Woolpert provided public relations and communication strategy support for the highly publicized purchase. We coordinated and executed a high-profile media event, supported by the development of a media kit, media alerts, image library, speaker talking points and broadcast interview. The successful media event set the stage for IRG, backed by the public and political community, to take the next step in the redevelopment project.
