MIAMI DADE WASD ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES

Searching for a better, more efficient way to manage its information, assets, and systems, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) wanted to reengineer and transform its business processes and information systems to provide more effective, sustainable services for customers. Woolpert teamed with Infor and EMA to implement an enterprise asset management (EAM) system to support the county’s water and sanitary sewer infrastructure management functions. The $7 million project took a multi-phased approach and included planning, data conversion, system configuration and testing, application development, systems integration, and training. The deployment of the EAM project helped identify and transform WASD operations and enhanced processes to support the effective uninterrupted delivery of services.
