MUSKINGUM WATERSHED CONSERVANCY DISTRICT PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, SERVICES AND PROGRAMS MASTER PLAN REPORT

The Muskingum River Watershed, covering more than 8,000 square miles across northeastern Ohio, boasts a system of reservoirs, dams and parks that provides flood reduction, water conservation benefits and recreational opportunities. The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District selected Woolpert to preparing a program and facilities master plan for five parks and two marinas. A critical mission of this master plan was to restore the MWCD park system to its position of national leadership.

Woolpert’s planning services included facilitating extensive public involvement, developing strategic business plans for each park and the park system as a whole; site design services highlighted low-impact design and sustainable design.
