Woolpert performed sanitary sewer evaluation survey (SSES) work in the Almand Branch Basin of Rockdale County, to locate and identify sources of infiltration and inflow (I/I) and provide rehabilitation recommendations that will assist with eliminating I/I from the county’s collection system.

In addition to the SSES work in Almand Branch, Woolpert is conducting a countywide inventory of critical crossings of water and sewer systems. The scope of services for this project includes:

  • Critical crossing inventory
  • Manhole inspections (1,200 manholes)
  • GPS survey of manholes and defects
  • Smoke testing (241,000 linear feet)
  • Dye flooding (30 tests)
  • CCTV and sonar inspections (45,000 linear feet)
  • Heavy and light sewer cleaning
  • Flow isolations
  • Bypass pumping
  • Comprehensive rehabilitation reporting
