The self-sustaining traditional neighborhood community of Harmony is an 11,000-acre mixed-used development of regional impact project located in eastern Osceola County. For more than 10 years, MER&B (acquired by Woolpert) has provided the town with entitlement planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting and construction phase services. We currently serve as the district engineer for the Harmony Community Development District, and to help the town emphasize its balance between development and the natural environment, we coordinate our planning and design services with numerous local, state and federal government agencies.

  • To date, we have provided Harmony with planning and design for drainage, utilities and grading; golf course design and permitting; site and construction documents; and water, environmental and transportation permitting. We count among the community’s improvements an 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse; roadway, stormwater management and water/sewer system infrastructures; multiple roadway connections to US Highway 192; over 1,000 units of residential housing in nine subdivisions; and the future town center’s infrastructure.
