Woolpert Scaling ENR Top Design Firms List

DAYTON, Ohio (April 28, 2017) — The ENR 2017 Top 500 Design Firms list is out, and Woolpert has made another sizable leap forward. After being at ranked at 135^th on the 2015 list and 124^th last year, the firm is up to No. 110 this year.

This annual list, published by Engineering News-Record Magazine, ranks U.S. firms based on their revenue for design work in the previous year. Firms from Alaska to Maine to Florida to California are classified by the type of work they provide, including architecture, engineering, contracting, planning, geotechnical and various combinations therein. Woolpert was the only firm classified as architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) to make the list.

ENR also breaks the companies down by design categories that include market sectors and international revenue. Among these subcategories, Woolpert was named among the Top 100 Pure Designers, ranking 81^st. This position also was a jump from last year’s ranking of 93^rd.
