Woolpert and Cloudline Unite Autonomous Flight and Advanced Sensor Technologies to Enable Sustainable Impact

Woolpert and Cloudline have formalised a strategic memorandum of understanding that brings together the firms’ expertise to deliver innovative geospatial and data solutions across Africa.

By combining Woolpert’s global geospatial leadership with Cloudline’s autonomous aerial capabilities, the agreement introduces a sustainable, carbon‑free approach to capturing high‑quality imagery and lidar data from sensors mounted on Cloudline’s autonomous airship platform as an alternative-to-drone platform.

Together, the organisations aim to support various markets, including governments, industry, and communities with high‑quality, actionable data that enables smarter decision‑making and sustainable development.

Woolpert Market Director, Africa Chris Tanner said the MOU represents a shared commitment to innovation and impact.
