Bathymetric Survey of Vigor Shipyards

eTrac, a Woolpert Company, performed annual conditional surveys at Vigor’s Portland and Seattle shipyards beginning in 2015. eTrac used high-resolution multibeam for bathymetric surveys to determine safe depths for deep-draft vessels transiting the shipyards. These surveys help Vigor maintain its facilities for safe navigation and plan for future maintenance. Precision navigational charts were also produced to assist Columbia River pilots at the Portland facility.
