The JW Marriott Complex in Indianapolis promises a perfect environment for both business and leisure. The complex, also known as the Indiana Convention Center Hotel, is made up of the JW Marriott, Marriot Courtyard and Marriott Fairfield Inn and houses more than 1,000 rooms as well as 80,000 square feet of combined meeting and event space.

To design the desired sophisticated atmosphere, the owners looked to Woolpert for professional site civil engineering and landscape architecture as well as several other design services. Our team developed a plan indicating walkways, plazas, entry features, stairwells, planting areas, parking, service/delivery areas and lighting considerations. The team also helped relocate storm sewers and utilities as needed.

  • With a new, modern design and a classy atmosphere, the complex contains the largest JW Marriott in the world and stands as the tallest hotel in Indiana, complete with fine dining restaurants and the biggest ballroom in the Midwest. An underground three-level parking area, designed specifically for the project, is connected to the complex.

We provided the preparation of site plans, landscape architecture coordination, and relocation and extension of water, wastewater and storm sewer utilities, roadway improvements, maintenance of traffic plans, permitting and survey services.
