Hydrographic Multibeam Surveys for Corrective Measure and Habitat Project
Woolpert has been conducting third party hydrographic multibeam surveys for the Duwamish Sediment Other Area Corrective Measure and Habitat Project – Boeing Plant 2 since the project began in 2012. Woolpert was contracted by Envirocon under Boeing to perform high resolution surveys to support the dredging and capping activities on this environmental remediation project. In addition to hydrographic surveys, Woolpert provided electronic sediment barge monitoring with a customized client interface website for asset and quantity management. Woolpert also provided support services for the precision excavator positioning system. This data was used to update the onboard 3D dredging software daily, which greatly benefited machine efficiency and minimized environmental impact.
