Bermello Ajamil, a wholly owned subsidiary of Woolpert, completed the architecture, interior design, and build-out of a new 11,732-square-foot Executive Lounge for American Airlines in the new Terminal 3 at Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Design of the new Admirals Club was completed in February 2015 with construction beginning in March 2015. The completed club opened in September 2015.
The club areas include: a main entrance with frameless automatic doors; a reception queueing area with four service podiums; club seating for 274; a business center with work carrels; a quiet lounge; a TV lounge; a children’s area; a kitchen, two self-service food, and beverage bars; a cyber café; men’s and ladies' restrooms; four shower suites; an IT room; two FIDS screens; and three large flat screen televisions.
