This project involved the construction of the Harrisburg Federal Courthouse Building for the U.S. General Services Administration on a 4.2-acre property located in Midtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dawood, a wholly owned subsidiary of Woolpert, delivered an engineering scope including the coordination of site layout and stormwater management, including underground detention, volume and water quality controls, utility relocations and service coordination, erosion and sedimentation control, and NPDES permitting.

The project also included a site demolition and preparation package to remove all existing structures on the site. Preparation of the site involved demolition and relocation of two water mains, a gas main, a combined sewer main, and coordination with overhead utility companies for transmission line relocations.
