Nicklaus Children’s Hospital East Pavilion

Bermello Ajamil (BA), a Woolpert Company is providing architectural design services for the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Health System, which includes a new three-story addition to the existing East Building and infill of the current courtyard and porte-cochere. The project program features indoor and outdoor dining, a new production and commercial kitchen, chapel, gift shop, formula suite, medical offices, medical library, and on-call rooms. The team designed the project using evidence-based design and LEAN principles. The project is to be both LEED and WELL certified; however, it is currently awaiting approval to proceed to permitting.
