Plaza Premium Group Lounge - DFW Airport

Plaza Premium Group, a Hong Kong–based global leader in airport hospitality, sought to expand its footprint at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) by opening two new lounges.

These included the first-ever Plaza Premium First (PPF) in the United States and a reimagined Plaza Premium Lounge (PPL). Both occupied a 10,000-square-foot premium interior space within the airport, offering convenient access for travelers.

Bermello Ajamil (BA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Woolpert, drew on the Texas region’s natural beauty and architectural evolution, seamlessly fusing raw materials with modern sophistication.

The PPF lounge adopted an open-concept design centered around a striking, sculptural bar that served as the focal anchor. In contrast, the PPL lounge was conceived as a linear experience along a narrow corridor, guiding guests toward a dramatic destination bar.
BA’s use of a consistent material palette, integrated lighting design, and a curated selection of furnishings ensured spatial cohesion between the PPF and PPL while preserving a sense of openness without compromising privacy.

The result was a refined, immersive environment that welcomed travelers with warmth and elegance as they prepared for the next leg of their journey.
