Dawood, a wholly owned subsidiary of Woolpert, provided structural engineering services to an energy provider in northern Pennsylvania. We effectively coordinated with the client to ensure that our designs were in accordance with their company standards and were delivered to meet their critical construction schedules. Foundation designs were provided for a full range of skid-mounted equipment and machinery such as reciprocating compressors, generators, piping header assemblies, secondary containment structures, and natural gas processing components. Foundation designs were also provided for prefabricated buildings such as steel compressor buildings, acoustic housings used for sound abatement, and modules set up for critical facility control activities. In addition to these services, the project team provided structural engineering support for skid relocation such as center-of-gravity analysis, lifting lug design, and skid framing analysis.
