Slater and Gordon’s Melbourne workplace represents a significant shift in the firm’s workplace strategy, supporting more flexible and hybrid ways of working while reinforcing its long-standing commitment to people, care, and integrity.

There are no dedicated enclosed offices for lawyers, with all staff provided with open workstations supported by a mix of shared quiet rooms, focus spaces, and meeting rooms. This approach promotes transparency and learning while offering a clear choice of settings for concentration, privacy, and collaboration. Collaboration zones are carefully positioned to encourage movement and connection without disrupting focus work areas. Integrated technology supports efficient and seamless ways of working.
Shared access to natural light is maximized by placing open plan environments at the building perimeter, with full height enclosed spaces located against the central building core, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the floorplate.

The workplace adopts a warm, welcoming material palette aligned with Slater and Gordon’s values of care and comfort.
