Virginia Department of Transportation Selects Woolpert for Three-term Audit Contract

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (September 29, 2011)… Woolpert announced it was recently selected by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to perform on-call final construction contract records audits for up to three terms at a maximum of $3 million per term.
Woolpert’s contract includes VDOT’s Northern Virginia, Culpeper and Fredericksburg districts. The work involves reviewing detailed roadway and bridge project construction records to confirm actual pay quantities as well as extensive investigation and comparison of project records, invoices and test reports.

Woolpert has been providing these services to VDOT for the past 15 years, receiving five consecutive re-compete contract awards.
