Woolpert’s ITMC Market Adds Project Manager with Water/Wastewater Utility Experience

Ankur Rathor brings years of experience in risk assessment, performance benchmarking, condition assessment and lifecycle evaluation of assets to the firm.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 6, 2019) — Woolpert has hired Ankur Rathor as a project manager in the firm’s Information Technology Management Consulting (ITMC) market. Rathor has experience with multiple clients and project management, as well as an extensive background implementing work, maintenance and asset management programs for water and wastewater utilities.

Rathor said he was attracted to Woolpert due to the “dynamic and experienced individuals on the team, the growth of the company and the opportunity to work with different types of projects.”

“I plan to focus on sales and development,” Rathor said. “My asset management experience will not only help the Water market but also the Transportation and Energy markets as we start doing more integrated projects with ITMC. It will help build a healthy pipeline and steady revenue for the company.”

Prior to Woolpert, Rathor was a practice group manager coordinating day-to-day activities for EMA Inc. He led enterprise asset management programs for utilities in Georgia, Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. He also consulted for asset management programs, assisting in the development of plans to ensure projects functioned smoothly.

Dave Feuer, Woolpert vice president and ITMC market director, said Rathor’s broad experience and expertise strengthen the firm’s cross-market capabilities.

“Ankur’s deep and varied skillset will enable him to effectively leverage the firm’s AEG capabilities to the benefit of our current and future clients,” Feuer said. “He’s a great addition to the team.”

Rathor holds a master’s degree in construction management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai. He also has authored and co-authored numerous publications about asset management, best practices and benchmarking performance for utilities.

Rathor will telecommute and be based out of Woolpert’s Charlotte office.
