Steve Phipps as Keynote Speaker at Ohio’s 8th Congressional District Farm Forum

Steve Phipps, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Energy Practice Leader here at Woolpert, will be the keynote speaker at Ohio’s 8th Congressional District Farm Forum on Saturday.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Troy Christian Elementary School, 1586 McKaig Ave., Troy. Phipps is expected to speak at noon.
Speaker John Boehner will host the 24th annual event, which will focus on the impact of new technology on agriculture. There will be a panel of experts, including representatives from the NASA Science Mission Directorate, the Ohio/Indiana Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center, CropZilla and Beck’s Hybrids.
Jim Zehringer, director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will serve as moderator.
Ohio’s 8th Congressional District has more than 6,000 farms across more than one million acres.
