Quanta Computer AI Server Assembly and Testing Facility

Woolpert developed a tailored delivery sequence for the 200,000 square foot renovation of an AI server assembly and testing facility, allowing Quanta to bid, procure, and permit the project quickly and start construction. After a site observation visit, Woolpert revised the existing 30 percent schematic design to comply with US codes and standards, then developed the documents from 60 percent design through construction drawings.

Services include structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, local code compliance evaluation, and design review, with Woolpert engineers stationed on site throughout construction to interpret the design. Woolpert also recommended a phased power increase for the site, combining available power, additional PG&E supply, and on-site generation, and is providing structural, civil, and electrical design for the new feeds, including concrete-encased conduit and cabling from Vault 3 on the Building B5 site to Building B16. Client approval required before publishing.
