American Samoa is a U.S. territory that covers seven South Pacific islands and atolls. Tutuila, the largest island, is home to the capital Pago Pago and has a natural harbor framed by volcanic peaks. Woolpert was contracted to mobilize a local vessel with multibeam survey equipment and collect data in Faleasao, Ofu, and Ta’u harbors.

Remote surveys are a specialty at Woolpert. We adapt our equipment to vessels of opportunity to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and incorporate local support to produce high quality data and deliverables.
