Woolpert Director of AI Jon Gustafson and Geospatial Specialist Daniel Ngoroi share their perspectives on this provocative and polarizing technology, which is seeping into all aspects of our lives.

“AI is one of those tools that we still do not know what its true capabilities are,” Ngoroi said. “There are parts of AI that scare people… including what it could do to the job market. At this point, it really is up to all of us. It is more of a societal responsibility to realize that not only are these tools extremely powerful, but they are a way to help humanity advance. Society is just going to have to face the benefits and the consequences alike.”
