AMS IMPLEMENTATION—CARMEL

The City of Carmel Utilities provides service to approximately 27,000 households and businesses in Carmel, IN, through three divisions: Water, Wastewater and Trash & Recycling. All divisions have a crucial need for accurate, accessible information to make long-term decisions surrounding infrastructure maintenance, rehabilitation and renewal. 

Woolpert was selected to implement the Cityworks Asset Management Solution (AMS) to support work order and asset management functionality for the city’s sanitary sewer and water distribution systems as well as the trash and recycling utility.

Based on a localized template, the new AMS provides a dependable, spatially enabled system for managing service requests, work orders and inspections. Woolpert integrated the AMS with the Wastewater Division’s closed-circuit television solution and configured work orders to support maintenance activities ranging from preventative to scheduled corrective and unplanned reactive maintenance.
