Islais Creek Object Detection
Woolpert conducted an object detection survey in Islasis Creek, located in southern San Francisco. Islais Creek is a historic watershed that was once surrounded by marshlands, but over time, it was transformed into an industrial district. Woolpert used ultra-high resolution multibeam data to detect pilings, debris, and objects within the creek. Although the creek is relatively small, Woolpert detected about 10 small boats resting on the seafloor.
