Woolpert survey crews helped update asset inventories for midstream clients throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. Crews conducted as-built surveys, using pipe tally logs to record pertinent pipe information and 3D GPS coordinates for all ground locations and pipe welds. Woolpert’s surveyors also used the client’s existing feature code library to record various pipeline asset attributes, including x-ray number, welder ID, heat number, pipe diameter, wall thickness and degree of bending/ sagging.
