Woolpert provided routing, design, survey and permitting services for natural
gas pipelines across Ohio and Pennsylvania. As part of the route identification process, Woolpert evaluated environmental and construction concerns, performed field assessments and investigated property owner issues. After the routes were established, Woolpert survey crews used innovative mobile technologies, including the Collector application paired with a Trimble R10 unit, to perform the following services:

• Collect proposed bore locations
• Detail stream crossings
• Verify property lines
• Survey site distances
• Stake out alignment center lines and limits of disturbance

ArcGIS Online enabled the project team to view and download the field data in real time and incorporate it into alignment plans and permitting documents.
