When developer Simon Property Group demolished one of the former anchor stores and parking deck at Castleton Square Mall, Woolpert was part of the team that redesigned the site and front of Indiana’s largest shopping center. Our team worked on 50,000 square feet of new retail stores, including a big-box bookstore, specialty stores and restaurants, and a curved glass canopy and clerestory windows.
Woolpert’s new parking field design expertly enhanced vehicular traffic flow around the property and promoted pedestrian access to the retailers’ front doors and mall’s main entrance. Two fountains, new landscaping and exterior lighting reinforced the concept of a garden-like setting.
