Woolpert performed sanitary sewer evaluation survey (SSES) work in the Almand Branch Basin of Rockdale County, to locate and identify sources of infiltration and inflow (I/I) and provide rehabilitation recommendations that will assist with eliminating I/I from the county’s collection system.
In addition to the SSES work in Almand Branch, Woolpert is conducting a countywide inventory of critical crossings of water and sewer systems. The scope of services for this project includes:
- Critical crossing inventory
- Manhole inspections (1,200 manholes)
- GPS survey of manholes and defects
- Smoke testing (241,000 linear feet)
- Dye flooding (30 tests)
- CCTV and sonar inspections (45,000 linear feet)
- Heavy and light sewer cleaning
- Flow isolations
- Bypass pumping
- Comprehensive rehabilitation reporting
