Woolpert Welcomes Pete Fortin

  • We are pleased to announce that Pete Fortin, PE, CSM, has joined our Water market as our newest senior project director.

    Fortin’s impressive 42 years of experience includes a rich history of planning, supervising and coordinating wide-ranging operations and maintenance projects requiring complex execution. During his career, he has excelled in various rehabilitation projects, each with different obstacles to overcome. Fortin has managed the planning, design and construction efforts for regional water systems, while coordinating with municipalities and communicating with citizens to ensure full buy-in and trust.

Fortin is a member of the Water Environment Federation and sits on the organization’s state and national Collection System Committee. He participates in the American Public Works Association (APWA), received the Virginia Water Environment Association (VWEA) Golden Manhole Award in 2002 and is a life member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA).
