Thermal Imagery for Building and Utility Owners

Woolpert Vice President and Chief Scientist Qassim Abdullah and Woolpert Senior Associate and Sustainable Design Expert Nadja Turek recently collaborated on article/white paper, “Thermal Imagery for Building and Utility Owners,” which was published by Earth Imaging Journal, Sensors and Systems, and Informed Infrastructure.

The article discusses how accurately capturing differences in temperature via thermal imagery provides facility and utility managers with data that can provide extraordinary benefits. The article examines the aerial acquisition aspect of thermal imagery, outlining elements crucial to selecting suitable sensors and cost-effective acquisition methods.

The Benefits of Single Sign-on for Public Asset Management

For the Spring 2021 edition of Cityworks Magazine, Woolpert Geospatial Specialist Cheryl Spencer, GISP, and Woolpert Project Manager Christina Martinez, GISP, write about the “The Benefits of Single Sign-on for Public Asset Management.” They outline how the Cityworks SSO tool streamlines access to multiple applications, increases functionality and provides two additional map tools:  Web Map Manager and Roads and Highways. They also note how this SSO enables users to log into Cityworks using their AGOL or Portal for ArcGIS credentials.
