Woolpert Hires Aviation Civil Engineer Tyler Bicknell as Project Manager
COLUMBUS, Ohio (July 2, 2019) — Woolpert has hired Tyler Bicknell, PE, as a project manager in the firm’s Aviation practice. Bicknell brings extensive experience in managing the design and construction for multimillion-dollar aviation infrastructure projects. He specializes in airfield pavement, Federal Aviation Administration project specifications, and geometric, grading and drainage design.
Bicknell, an Ohio State University graduate, said he is looking forward to working with Woolpert on large and small aviation projects, ranging from runway design and modernization to obstruction survey and airspace analysis, throughout the Midwest.
“I was blown away by the Aviation team’s attitude when I met them,” Bicknell said. “Their exposure to exciting and challenging projects is also what I want to be a part of, and I’m excited to jump right in.”
