Kenton County Among First to Procure 3D Hydrography Data, Employ Semiautomated Remote Sensing Techniques

Kenton County GIS/IT Director Trisha Brush and Woolpert Senior Vice President Jeff Lovin collaborated on this article for American City & County magazine about the vast benefits of 3D hydrography data and developing technologies, like semiautomated remote sensing.

These hydrography data will be used to address stormwater drainage, flood control, flood delineation and mitigation, as well as other water management issues, providing a sizable step forward in risk management for these counties, cities and watersheds.
