Overcoming Challenges in Alaska's Landslide Risk Assessment
Woolpert’s David Neff published an exciting article in Hydro International Magazine this month explaining how bathymetric data collected by Woolpert is benefiting NOAA’s Office of Coast Survey and the U.S. Geological Survey initiatives. Both federal agencies are using the data to provide insight into a steep, unstable slope in Alaska that could produce tsunami-generating landslides and impact multiple communities.
