Penetrating the Hawaiian Canopy

Woolpert Geospatial Project Manager and Senior Associate Eric Cole writes about the challenge and value of collecting vital lidar data in Hawaii in his article, “Penetrating the Hawaiian Canopy,” which is the cover story of the October/November 2020 edition of Lidar Magazine.

“This was a multi-partner, collaborative effort that made good use of federal funding for high-quality data that will provide a baseline of information about Hawaii to be used by public and private entities for years to come,” NOAA OCM Geographer Dave Stein said.
