Vital Deployment of Lidar Data for Emergency Response—Rapid, Effective, Essential
Woolpert Geospatial Program Director John Gerhard has an article in the June/July edition of Lidar Magazine about the firm’s work in its joint venture with Optimal Geo (WMR-532) to support the Joint Airborne Bathymetry Technical Center for Expertise (JALBTCX) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on the technology, organization and process involved in crucial lidar collections to aid in recovery efforts from recent hurricanes, as well as ways to better prepare for future events.
