TARGET CORPORATION EXPANSION AND REMODEL PROGRAM

Target Corporation, a discount retailer headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., with more than 1,400 store locations across the United States, is currently in the process of broadening its retail base throughout the nation. Woolpert has been selected to provide multiple coordination services for the new store and expansion/remodel site program to support the growth of Target stores throughout the Midwest and Southeast.

Typical Target projects have approximately 125,000 to 175,000 square feet of building on sites ranging from 10 to 20 acres. Since Target stores’ facilities require “big-box user” planning and design capabilities, Woolpert bases its services on specific development criteria provided by the Target organization.
